Want something like this for your workflow?
I build custom tools and systems for artists, managers, labels and distributors.
Unified catalogs, sync with Spotify, Beatport and other platforms, proprietary royalty and performance dashboards, sites for artists, labels and agencies, release automations. If this tool helped you, imagine a version dedicated to your workflow.
Frequently asked questions
- What is an ISRC?
- ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is the unique identifier of a recording. Every track has one, assigned by the label or distributor when delivering to platforms.
- What is a UPC?
- UPC (Universal Product Code) is the barcode of the release. It identifies an album, EP or single as a product. One release has one UPC; each track inside it has its own ISRC.
- Why do some tracks return no ISRC or UPC?
- Spotify and Beatport only expose these codes when the label provided them at delivery. Older releases, independent uploads or incomplete ingestions may show up without them.
- Is there a query limit?
- Yes: 5 lookups per day per visitor. This keeps the tool free and respects Spotify and Beatport API limits. If you need higher volume (entire catalogs, reverse lookup, automations), reach out and I can build something dedicated.
- Do you store the links I search?
- No. We do not store links or results. We only keep an anonymous per-IP counter (hashed with a daily salt) to enforce the 5-lookups-per-day limit.
